Subject: another song - long shot :(
Hi everyone.
It *is* a long shot but I have tried everywhere else (and for the last year or so :'(), I just can't seem to find any reference to a song from the late 80s, with a Duran Duran feel to it, in wich the chorus would go "Tell me, tell me... don't you think we're in loooooove, tell me now, don't you think...." or something like that.
Anyone? a little light? something at the end of the tunnel? :)
Thanks!

Possible Thompson Twin feel, but can't place it.

taking a very long shot here but, it brings to mind a song called "how do you talk to an angle" it was done by a group that was also the name of a tv show. can't remember the name of either
the chorus is "tell me, tell me the words to define the way i feel about someone so fine. how do you talk to an angle, how do ya hold her close to where you are, how do you talk to an angle , it's like trying to catch a falling star.

The song you are talking about is How do You Talk to an Angel by The Heights from the short lived TV show of the same name...here are the lyrics
I hear a voice in my mind
I know her face by heart
heaven and earth are moving in my soul
I don't know where to start
tell me, tell me, the words to define
the way I feel about someone so fine
how do you talk to an angel
how do you hold her close to where you are
how do you talk to an angel
it's like trying to catch a falling star
at night i dream that she is there
and I can feel her in the air
tell me, tell me, the words to define
the way I feel about someone so fine
how do you talk to an angel
how do you hold her close to where you are
how do you talk to an angel
it's like trying to catch a falling star
how do you talk to an angel
how do you hold her close to where you are
how do you talk to an angel
it's like trying to catch a falling star
how do you talk to an angel
how do you hold her close to where you are
how do you talk to an angel
it's like trying to catch a falling star
yeah, yeah

Subject: Re: another song - long shot :(
No, Brian Austin Green played David, Donna's first and last true love. Ray was played by Jaime Walters

Hum, not Beatles, I've got a pretty nice collection including that song and it isn't.. but I'm happy that someone else got their song! :-)
Still, let's see... that "tell me, tell me, don't you ...." chorus is sung twice...
Just updating the thread so someone else may read and... ah, well, as I said, it's a long shot! But since I've never given up on any song... :-)
For the time being, thanks everyone...
