Subject: PLEASE help with Blue Jeans song

For YEARS I have been looking for a song that was played in the early 80's skating rinks. I can find NO information anywhere and am beginning to think maybe I just made it up. I have no idea what the song is called or who it's by, but the only lyrics that I can remember are:
"blue jeans, blue jeans, blue jeans, blue jeans, blue jeans" and then he/they proceed to name off chic, sassoon, jordache, gloria (pause) vanderbilt.
ANY help on this would be greatly appreciated by my sanity!

No, it wasn't David Bowie. It would be in the genre of "dance" I suppose. It was popular around the same time as, and has the same kind of sound as Midnight Starr or Newcleus (Jam on It) and such.

;D OH MY GOD!!!!!! I FOUND IT!!!! On a Japanese website nonetheless (ironically I started SERIOUSLY looking for this song when I lived in Japan 5 yrs ago)!!!! I'm not crazy after all!!!!! The name of it IS Blue Jeans and its by Chocolate Milk. Now I've just got to find where I can get the whole song from. ;D
