Subject: blind error
After looking at the 'funny' lyrics and the 'none-rhyming' lyrics, it came to my attention that a handful of people simply do not understand poetic techniques. A 'rhyme' that does not quite rhyme is called: ASSONANCE and is quite acceptable. A couple of people on the 'funny' section claimed that the Queen lyrics ''pack away your troubles in a suitcase'' and ''when I was you and you were me'' were poor. Both of these lyrics are spoken Metaphorically, which is another lyrical technique. A VERY important one aswell. The former simply means get rid of your troubles and the latter means we were so close we were as one. Metaphors are vital for making words more interesting. Understand that bands such as, and especially Queen are very intellectual men and they certainly know what they are doing. So in summary, before you make a complaint think.....it may be you that is wrong, after all some of these bands in question are legendary rock stars and acclaimed song-writers, you, most likely, are not.

I usually achieve assonance after a big dinner of bar-be-que. ;D

and in summary, if you're looking for serious music discussion on a site with the moto "making fun of music, one song at a time" stop and wonder if people post stuff like that just to tweak music people like you
