Subject: Misprinted Lyrics on the AmIRight site!
I found this on the front page of the "Misheard Lyrics" page.. Seems someone around here misheard the lyrics to the song themself!
NickleBack's, "This Is How You Remind Me"
Misheard Lyrics:
Always hated a wise man,
Couldn't care less about a poor mans feelings.
Correct Lyrics:
Never made it as a wise man,
Couldn't cut it as a poor mans feeling.
Story about this misheard lyric by: Aya
When I thought the lead singer said ' Couldn't care less 'bout a poor mans feelings ' I thought it was really mean, And couldn't undersatnd why he wouls say somthing like that in a song..Until I read the lyrics and found out it wasn't that at all.
The actual song lyrics are: "Never made it as a wise man, couldn't cut it as a poor MAN STEALING"
Being in a band, and singing that song for a year now, AND getting the original lyrics from the Nickleback website.. I know for a fact that my posted lyrics are the correct ones.
Oops, AmIRight! Am I Right? Oh yes!

Exodus, lots of the "correct" lyrics on the site are really incorrect. If you read the bottom of each misheard page, it says something like "Amiright.com makes no claims to the accuracy of the correct lyrics."
But I believe you about the Nickelback lyrics. ;D

yeah i'm sure it's stealing the other way wouldn't make any sense anyway

Quoting:
NickleBack's, "This Is How You Remind Me"
End Quote
one other thing (actually, two): The band name is spelled wrong and the song title isn't quite right: It's Nickelback (e before l) and "How You Remind Me." Oh well, there's lots of similar flubs like that too. 8)
