Hey we're both from the same area, did you by any chance hear this song about two days ago on WCBSfm 101.1 sometime in the morning? I myself looked it up also, its "Tighter, tighter" by Alive N Kickin'...a disco hit, sounds kinda like a Bee Gees song...

Howard, Mike is correct re the title.

Being really pedantic, the group name was "Alive and Kicking" rather than written in Salt N pepa style - I only say that in case you were looking them up elsewhere for some other reason.

However ! This song pre-dated Disco by some years (thank goodness) ;D

It was released in 1970 :o
