Subject: Please, 80s song

OK, this one is an awesome rare Pop/Rock song i heard on the radio LONG long time ago, i believe it's from 1980 to 1984 era. It's a very catchy sort of triumphant song, man singing with a hard to understand accent (could be german or dutch but english lyrics), it repeats on the chorus the phrase "oh oh oh love me tonight" and it also mentions the words "stranger" and "fire". I couldn't identify anything else because of the accent, but the part saying "oh oh oh" sounds exactly the same as Robin Gibb singing "oh oh oh" on "Boys Do Fall In Love", except this is a much more rock/pop tune, not disco.
Cheers
