Subject: Changes in ads on amiright
Incase you noticed, I moved the google ads out of the top banner spot, and it's now only on select sections of the sight as "skyscraper" ads on the right side. The reason for this is two-fold:
1) I can easily sell the top banner space to people, while running google ads somewhere else on the page
2) Google ads are keyword sensitive, and many of the pages that were displaying them, didn't have keywords, thus free ads ran and I made nuthin' of those spots anyways.
So I hope no one finds the new layouts too annoying, and there aren't any problems with new layouts.. if you see something really strange looking, please let me know and I'll fix it.
I'm trying to keep ahead of the website expenses (instead of making less than I need).. the traffic on the site keeps increasing, and I may need to move to a seperate server for amiright at some point (thus doubling my current costs)..
according to Alexa: http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?q=&url=amiright.com the ranking for amiright is around 30,000. At the rate of growth I've been seeing, I should make 10,000 in another 6 months or so (I would guess).. Most sites in that traffic range have really tough server requirements.

hmm.. well no one complained about the new ad-layouts.. and they appear to be working just as well with fewer ads (maybe even a little better).. so I'm quite happy..
