I've been looking for this song for a little while myself.

I looked on Apple's iPod section and found the ad on their site....freezing the movie at the right moment, you get a good glimpse of the iPod's screen.  It says the following:

"Section 9: Light & Day
The Polyphonic Spree
The Beginning Stages of"

Though I've never heard of them, the lead sort of sounds like that of the band Tripping Daisy.

EDIT: Further investigation on Allmusic.com reveals the band is indeed The Polyphonic Spree, the song Light & Day appearing on their album "The Beginning Stages of...", and that the lead is indeed that of Tripping Daisy (Tim Delaughter).
