Hey everyone, I'm not sure if this is a late 80's or early 90's song, but I've been trying to figure the name/artist out for years. I taped it off the radio when I was in Jr. High, and since I assume it's rare I don't think I'll find it in record stores but I'm hoping someone here can ID it. I've been trying for a long time now to at least find an mp3 of it to listed to the whole thing, but it's hard to search if you don't know the artist or name.

I'm pretty sure it's called "Catch Me" and I can't make out the band name on the recording I have though.

I'll post a sample, if you could I'd appreciate if you'd take a listen and let me know if ya know what it is!

OK, that's at least a start (more than one person knows of it at least, that's a better result than I have been getting from people I asked..!) :)

I really am hoping you can help, I'm hoping to at least get the mp3 since there's no way I'll find it unless it's at a flea market. Actually, this is the LAST song on my want list of obscure 80's songs, I got all the others years ago. So it's a bit of a thorn in my side if nothing else, plus I knida like it.

I should have mentioned, at the end of the recording I got the DJ says the song is called Catch Me, so that much I'm sure of. The band sounds like "Worrel", or something like that. It's like 1992 cassette tape so I dunno, but it's clear enough that I think that's it. Hope that helps, I'm really hoping!

Real Life, the group that brought us "Send Me an Angel" also had another pretty song called "Catch Me I'm Falling."

Checked that one out, it's a good song, but not the right one. I'm assuming a lot of people who come on here looking for song IDs get the answer, from the amount of people here who know a ton about music. You prolly don't get stumped too often, but I'm kinda wondering now.

I'm just glad I have even a crappy recording of it, or I'd think I was imagining things. I haven't heard it since about 92-93, and it was only a couple times then.

There was a band in 1991 called worrall.  Lead singer Rick Worrall

Thank you!!!!!!! Showing me how to spell their name allowed me to look for 'em in google for real instead of just guessing the spelling in all possible combinations and looking through hundreds of results.. And searching for Warrant too.

I found ONE page that featured Worrell and Catch Me together, and I know at least that I wasn't hearing things at least. I also found an artists page that has info on the band but only lists 3 songs, and none are it, but it's only 3 songs off a whole CD.
