Yeah this isnt a personal attack, more like a heads up cause I happen to know a lot about the subject of "Judith" by A Perfect Circle.

Here's why they are way off base.
Start with the lyrics:
Judith:

On the surface this sounds like an indictment of religion, but Maynard of Tool/A Perfect Circle is not the type to be so straightfoward. You got the anger... you just missed who this song is directed to.
In an interview Maynard says.... "The song is about a girl who let a man... a "boyfriend"... take advantage of her in so many ways, and she still hasn't got the brains to get out of it. She makes up excuses for his actions, the she puts him on a pedistal and glorfies him... almost worships the groud he walked on, despite how he treats her. It makes me sick. There is a real Judith. Her name IS Judith... and she's probably too stupid to realize the song is about HER."
