Subject: Help naming these songs!

Okay, I know this is a long shot, but there has to be somebody out there that can help me. I don't know the names or artists of either.
The first song came out, I believe, around '86 or '87. All I remember is great drum beats and, like, tribal chanting/singing. Seems like that was at the end of the song. I don't remember any of the lyrics. I was always getting it confused w/ Dream Academy's "Life in a Northern Town" - you know the part that goes, "a-hey-ma-ma-ma-ma". Okay, I realize I probably have zero chance of figuring this out.
The second song, all I remember is the line, "BTO and Bob Seger."
I've done countless searches of 80's songs and am coming up w/ nothing.
Please help if you can! Thanks.

1st song: could it be "Chenko (tenka-io)" by Red Box?

There was a tune by David & David called "Swallowed By the Cracks" that always reminded me of "Life in a Northern Town".

One thing that could help, is let us know what types of music you normally listen to, it could help us to track down the genre at the very least, and give us a starting point.
This first song though...
What about Warlock 'All We Are'? The chorus has the drum/chanting..all we are..all we are we are we are all...all we need....' and so forth
Might wanna check that out...

Don't know if this helps you at all, but BTO and Bob Seger are boths bands, is the song about them or by them?
