The other day, a friend of mine and I were talking about the song "Blinded by the Light" by Kansas. Neither one of us were too sure what the song was about. Can anyone tell us?

it was written by Bruce Springsteen and first performed by Manfred Mann's Earth Band

I don't think I've heard that one. The only one I know is by Manfred Mann's Earth Band

Springsteens version is on "Greetings from Asbury park, NJ"...its not that great a version
