Subject: Congratulations, John Harvey
You're famous...
Your parody, "The Friend of Violence" appears in the current issue of Uncle Ernie's Issues & Alibis" (scroll down near the bottom). Ernie Stewart, the webmaster is a friend and fan of mine.

Congratulations John!
You have achieved the fame and earned the esteem that many of us parody writers are striving for and you appear to be on the fast track to achieve even greater things. I hope you don't forget your friends at amiright when you get there.

congrats john on getting recognized so early in your writing career. I've got 172 on the site now and still no word of anyone else using my parodies >:( (except for the one i have on william tong's site).

Thank you all who made this award possible! Thank you mom and dad! Thank you great deity that I believe in, though others may not and that's okay 'cause I won't force my beliefs on them *deep breath*. I'm really glad that you all supported me through the good times and... the better times.
I cannot tell you how happy this makes me! May the light of the left lead us more ...um... lefter!
...Um, am I going to see any money from this?
Gaah! It's capitalist Harvey! Get him!

I just wish the website could be more organized. It took me like 10 min to find my parody. It's weird that all this stuff is just on one page.
I don't mean to be petty or critical or ungrateful, but I thought you made a mistake in your link at first. I'm still really happy someone liked my work and thought enough of it to put it on their website. ;D

Well done John!
So now you're gonna get 'pot shots' from more directions? ;D

John:
Sorry you had trouble finding your parody. I should have suggested using the <Ctrl><F> search command to look up your name; you would have found your parody in a few seconds.
After that issue of "Issues & Alibis" gets archived, it will be more difficult to find your parody, as the URL of the archive page will be different than the URL I gave you, which is reserved only for the current edition.
Ernie Stewart, the webmaster there, usually posts a parody from my web site near the end of each edition. He's used many of mine in the past, and he's been selecting parodies that were sent in to me and posted on my Guest Parodies Page.
Again, congratulations.
