Ok, I've heard this song a few times, always liked it, never found out the name or who it's by. It's even played during VH1's awesome "I love the 80's" series. I could've sworn it was by Men at Work or Toto but I can't seem to find out.
Lyrics:

"I hear your voice, like a voice so clear" or something?
It kinda sounds like Duran Duranish type instruments and atmosphere.

Well, thanks to VH1, I acidentally caught the song during their 1-hit wonders episode. It's Big Country - In A Big Country!. The actauly verse goes:
"In a big country, dreams stay with you"
"Like a lover's voice, across the mountain side".
