In the misheard lyrics bit, there is the most famously misheard lyric
Purple haze
"Scuze me, while i kiss this guy"
Some people say it is
"Scuse me while I kiss thi sky"
Thes sound similay, but I have a live version wher he says
"Scuze me, while i kiss that guy"
there is no way this can be misheard as
"Scuse me while I kiss thi sky"
because that guy sounds nothing like "the sky" or "this guy"

Hendrix did that a few times in concert because people keep on mishearing it...He used to go over to Noel Redding and and pretend to kiss him...the real lyric is "Scuze me while I kiss the sky"
