Subject: amIright Idle - Forth Round
The topic is wide open on this one, I've picked the song however. Everyone's been doing pop tunes, I wanted something a little more traditional for this round.
Santa Claus Is Coming To Town

Since this is a song generally geared towards childen, the third category this time will be: "how well a child would react to the song." So I would probably avoid words like antidisestablishmentarism. I'm assuming everyone was a kid once, and should know things kids like (toys, candy, cartoons, long-winded political discussions).
Deadline for entry, will be Friday March 21st.

Oh great, whenever I sing songs for children, I usually make them cry ;D Hope it's just my voice.

even though its premature for me to ask this (since it hasnt been determined yet that im going on to the next round), are we allowed to use one that we already wrote?

certainly.. but the third category is appropriate for kids, so it's up to you whether or not you think your existing parody fits well enough to use it..

In true toilet humour fashion, I've written "Santa Claus's Trousers Are Brown", which I'm sure the kiddies'll love ;-) I'm going to be in prison for the rest of this week (working - no, I've not been a naughty boy) and probably without any kind of web connection, so it had to be a quickie. If I've hit today's (Monday's) new parodies, I'll post the link here: if not, you should be able to guess which it is. TVM.
Phil
PS Working on the assumption I get through the third round, of course
PPS "Forth" round?

The Nit-picking Spelling Nazi strikes again!
Spelling Nazi: It should be "Fourth" not "Forth". That's what's wrong with this generation. They don't know how to spell.
And off into the night goes the spelling Nazi. Hi ho grammar away!

I thought my PPS above was a subtle enough pointer... taking it as a typo/oversight rather than a spelling errer (;-) as I'm sure Chucky knows the difference between a position and a river - BTW can't remember are "first, second" etc cardinal or ordinal numbers or is it something else?)
