Anyone know the name of the tune they play during the masturbation/fantasy sequence in the movie?

That would be "Moving in Stereo" by The Cars. It was off their 1978 album, simply titled The Cars. Curiously, the song was not included on the soundtrack album, though...

Especially in light of The Cars being contracted to Elektra/Asylum-- the same label that produced the Fast Times OST! It appeared that their allegience was with the various sundry members/former members/ associates of The Eagles.

You know how many times I rented the video hoping to catch the name of the tune..??  I must have wrecked more than my share of vhs tape rentals just pausing and rewinding the credits.  :)   I thought I was doing something wrong.  Sheesh.
