To tell you the truth dude, I think it's really subjective...like some people just sing words a different way. Sometimes I can have a song with what I perceive as perfect pacing, but then people will trash it...so it's up in the air...
I guess you just have to make sure the syllables match up, and you don't have to strain a word too much to make it fit the music.

Pacing, I guess, is how well the parody matches up with the origional song. This includes rhyme sceme, correct # of syllables, and correct emphasis on the syllables.
Well, that's what they teach us in High School.
