Subject: What is the name of this group?
Obviously this isn't about lyrics, but I didn't know where else to put it.
What is the name of the group that does these songs?
Mamma Mia
Halfway Around the World
Dancing Queen
I have seen them referred to as the Abba Teens, the A* Teens, & ABBA. How can 3 names mean the same group? Which one is their "real name" (the one they use most often)?
Subject: Re: What is the name of this group?
ABBA originally did these. I think I remember seeing a teen group re-doing them though.

"The A Teens", according to an etertainment report I saw a while back.
Subject: Re: What is the name of this group?
Yeah, it's the A*Teens. They couldn't come up with any original songs, and apparently they couldn't think up an original name, either.

Thanks to all who replied!

I believe A*Teens was some Swedish pop group that did nothing but Abba songs.

ABBA were the greatest Scandinavian band of all time.
The A*Teens were a bunch of guys and gals who looked up to ABBA like so many others and decided to emulate their music. Very popular in Sweden, I believe, more popular than ABBA ever became up until the split in 1982.
An interesting thing to note is that A*Teens (previously named AbbaTeens) and their respective ABBA covers have done better in their native Sweden than the original ABBA tracks.
