Subject: Parody Duets? Just a trend or is it here to stay?

we have all seen an increase in parody duets. is it a trend following an outbreak of writers block or a trend that has just caught on ect. or is it here to stay?
personally i like duets and i hope that they would stay around but i also like the garage bands so .....what do you guys think?

there have always been duets, its nothing new, um, theyll stick around
and garage bands are awesome...listen to the Easybeats and the Standells

Yeah, duets have been around a long time... S.T.G. has done a ton with various people, also William Tong has had several with Alvin Dover, whoever he is.

I always do duets with my friend Watt. Even when we write solo, we just proof each other's work. I don't think I've ever been credited solo on AmIRight.
