My brother had an old 45 Apple record w/ a song that I think was called "If You Want It". It went, 'If you want it, here it is, come & get it. But you better hurry 'cause it's goin' fast. If you want it, here it is come & get it, but you better hurry 'cause it may not last. Did I hear you say that this must be a gas? Will you walk away from a fool & his money....sonny! If you want it, blah blah blah..." WHO SINGS THIS???!!! It is right on the end of my tongue...

I can see this Apple record in my mind: it seems like the name of the band had the word "finger" in it....

It was originally by the beatles...but Badfinger has the best, and my favorite version
