Subject: Skuzzy Song Search #3
Okay,
I have a copy of the CD "Super Mixer: A Goldenrod Compilation," which features the song "Tall," by Chinchilla. In the few liner notes that exist with the CD, the song is claimed to be a PJ Harvey cover. Yet I've looked on the All-Music Guide and still can't find which album contains the original version of that song. Can anyone help?

it might not be a song called "Tall" by PJ Harvey.. they may have renamed the original.. I happen to be a big fan of PJ's.. what are some of the lyrics? it might be something like "50ft Queenie"..

I'm pretty sure it's not a rewrite of "50 ft. Queenie." I can give you the chorus, but there are a few verses I'm having trouble with.
"She's just so tall
I can walk right through her legs.
Her hair's so long,
It's tripping me.
But I don't care.
No, not at all.
I'm seven feet high,
and growing.
My brain exploded,
I carry it 'round."
If you know better, you can fill in the rest.

it doesn't look like any I'm aware of.. might be something PJ never recorded herself (or released).. a google search didn't turn up anything either
