Subject: trouble
I know a lot about music, I do, but I do also have some trouble with some songs:
Here are some lyrics to songs that I dont know the tittles of and the names of the bands who sing them, I hope some of you can help me by telling me what they are, thank you:
1. "I will see the mountains crumble, before we say goodbye, my love and I will be, in love enturnally, thats the way, thats the way its meant to be"
2. "Im so in love with you, go now into the light, where we had it, into the light of the dawn"
3. "and then you ask, what am i not doing, he says your voice can not comand, and at times, you can move mountains, you surcome to your past"
4. "I got all for, something something something, I got all for a rocking guitar, like the way you kiss me, everytime you miss me, Ive gotta rock and roll, Ive gotta rock and rollhard"
thats it for now...

I believe the first one is called "So in love", i think, but I have no clue who sung it, it came out around the 60's I think. I know the next line to the song. :
"I will see the mountains crumble, before we say goodbye, I will see the oceans rumble, before <something>, ,y love and I will be in love eternaly, um, thats the way, thats the way I want it to be, all around, I see <something>, the side walks and the streets, the ground beneth my feet...."
it goes something like that
#2 is "Little Jeannie" by Elton John, a great little song
I know # 3, but I cant think of it
I think I know #4, not completely sure of it
Sorry bro, thats all I can help you with now

Concrete and Clay (don't know the original artist; Martin Plaza from the band Mental As Anything covered it here in Oz).
Billy, the last bit of that line is "the concrete and the clay beneath my feet begin to crumble"...
Subject: Re: trouble
'Concrete and the Clay' was recorded by Unit 4+2.

Your lyrics are a bit off, but you're clearly thinking of "I've Got a Rock n' Roll Heart" by Eric Clapton, a moderate hit here in the U.S. in the Spring of '83. It was off his 1983 album, Money and Cigarettes. Fortunately, the album is still in print today on CD here in the U.S...

This is "Until You Come Back to Me (That's What I'm Gonna Do)" by Aretha Franklin, a big hit here in the U.S. in the Winter of '74. It was off her 1974 album, Let Me in Your Life. Unfortunately, the album is long out-of-print, although it was re-issued on CD here in the U.S...

This is "When We Were the New Boys" by Rod Stewart, which was not a hit here in the U.S. It was off his 1998 album, also titled When We Were the New Boys. Fortunately, the album is still in print today on CD here in the U.S...
