trying to remember a TV commercial which had a slogan/song that had the following words in it....
your/we're the best.....better than all the rest
I think it might have been a Sanyo product ad but not sure...if anyone can help me....I'd appreciate it....thanks

It sure sounds like the " caress " soap commercial to me :-/

No, it wasn't the "Caress" commercial. I think that one went something like "Nothing less than caress" or something like that. As I recall the Caress commercial had a nubile, barely-clad model in it. :D Or was that a "Finesse" ad?
I know the ad that this thread is about. It had a chorus singing "You're simply the best... better than all the rest", which is a Tina Turner tune. I THINK it was for a car company but am not sure. :-/

Here in Australia Tina Turner's "Simply The Best" was used to promote Rugby League.

Speaking of legitimate songs as commercial jingles, did anybody notice a recen Levi's Low Riders commercial with "Undertow," by Lush as background music?
