I'm sure all of you wanted a space like this. Well the reason is I was reading some repetitive lyrics, and I said,"hey, that guy is crazy he doesn't even know the song" or something like that. There are comments here, with no sense.
For example, this girl, Carol wrote inthe repetitive lyrics. Rod Stewart "Forever Young" "Do you get he is forever young?"
Honey, listen to the lyrics, he's not talking about himself!
And there are others.

I think the problem here lies with the fact that the person in question is different to the one that the listener thinks s/he is referring to. Although the song is repetative, he is not talking of himself, that's true. Maybe this person's problem lies with other people interpreting the lyrics differently to him/her (assume female?)
Of course, we know the songs, but we don't feel that for every song we need to offer a 100% accurate interpretation.

the comment is not in reference to the subject matter, it's more along the lines of "he repeats 'forever young' a million times".. who he sings about, wether it's him or not, is pretty immaterial in this case.. and Carol did not state "Do you get Rod Stewart is forver young", she used "he", considering the song lyrics aren't about a woman or a man, her statement is still correct
why are people so anal about this stuff? it's a friggin humour site, lighten up... and if you're going to complain about someone making a misinformed comment, at least pick one that is...
