Subject: This song is driving me crazy! Help!

Hello all- I have a line from an 80's song going around my head but I need help to identify it! I'm not even sure the lyrics are right but this is what I can remember:
* I have one desire and that's to dance until we drop*.
If anyone can place this, I'll be mighty happy!
;D

Are you Canadian? If so, and the song in question has male vocals (you didn't say), it's probably "Dance Desire" by Haywire, a Canadian group. It was a big hit up in the Great White North in 1987, but failed to make the U.S. charts. It was off their 1987 album, Don't Just Stand There. Great tune! :-) I have a hits collection by the band on cassette, but unfortunately, it's packed away at the moment, so I can't play it to see if the song has that exact line you quoted - just going on a hunch...

I found the mp3 of this song and unfortunately it's not the one I was looking for. :( Thanks anyway for the tip.
What I forgot to mention in my original post was that yes it's a male vocal, but the style was either kind of techno or rap (that's how vaguely I remember it). I know this is a long shot since I can give so few details, but it's worth a try.
