Subject: Gerry Rafferty "Baker Street"
Was this song from a tv show, movie, or popular somewhere else??? This is killing me!! The tune is so familiar! I just heard it on the radio the other nite and I remember hearing it somewhere. Or am I just nuts?

it was really overplayed in the 70s, so maybe you've just heard it a million times ;D
I don't really remember it being played in anything though

The Foo fighters did a remake in 1998. it was the B side to thier My Hero single. It was played on the rock stations here a couple times. It was also in the movie "Good Will Hunting"

This song gets played three times a day on the 'classic hits' station here in Sydney. Makes you wonder what 'program directors' actually do.
