OK guys and gals, since this is a parody site, what are your favourite parodies? Mine, in no particular order, are:
1. The Elements, by Tom Lehrer
2. Smells Live Nirvana, by Weird Al
3. Dirty Deeds Done With Sheep, by Bob Rivers
4. Day Trip to Blackpool, by Jasper Carrott
5. The "Jingle Bell Rock" parody by John Valby
Phil
PS The Saga Begins, Yoda, Amesh Paradise and Fat would all be there somewhere, but I didn't want to OD on Weird Al.

Some of my favorites:
The Battle of Kookamonga--Homer & Jethro
Like a Surgeon--Weird Al Yankovic (or anything by Weird Al!)
Born in East LA--Cheech & Chong
Any Bob Rivers Christmas song (got all four of his Christmas CD's!)
If Shania Was Mine--Cledus T. Judd (or anything by Cledus T., including his newest, "Breath"!)

"I Am Santa Claus" would have to be my favorite from Rivers
I can't really think of my favorite from Weird Al.. probably "Fat" since the video was such a great send up.. I think he does Michael better than Michael does himself..
and "Amish Paradise" is great since it upset the covers artist Coolio so much.. if he didn't write it, he doesn't get any say in the matter as far I'm concerned...

"Roaches" by Bobby Jimmy & The Critters (parody of Timex Social Club's "Rumours")
"Rock Me Jerry Lewis" by Mike Elliott & Bud LaTour
"Walk Like A Lybian" - ? (unable to locate who sings this, I used to have a recording of it from '86. "...how do you spell Muumaar (sp) anyway is it 'm-o-a-o...'")
And of course, "Amish Paradise," "Taco Grande" and "Gump" by Weird Al.
