Subject: Please help

Written By: Sheryl on 01/13/02 at 08:14 a.m.

This song has been haunting me recently, and although I don't know why, I would at least like to know/remember the author, Title, and all of the lyrics, if possible.

The song was about a man who was trying to convince his wife/lover to come and live with him in various places around the US.  One place was denver, I think, and I know the last one was "please come to LA to live forever"...  and I also know that when she responded, she said that she was, "The Number one Fan of the Man from Tennessee".

Any Ideas/help?   ::)

That's Please Come Back To Boston by Loggins and Messina, one of my absolute favourite songs.

Actually it was "Please Come to Boston" by Dave Loggins, not Kenny Loggins and Jim Messina.  I don't know if Dave Loggins and Kenny Loggins were related.  Maybe they were brothers.
