I can't believe a whole decade is gone! :o
*in a van with some entity that embodies the 2010s, at the top of a cliff*
Y'know... I've come to realize a whole decade has passed, too. But the difference is... That for more than 40% of my life, I've had to be nothing short of overlooked. And that has required a TREMENDOUS.. amount of patience...
Goodbye, 2010s.

Hey you guys! I know it’s been forever, but I thought I’d stop by and say hi. I hope the new year and decade brings good things to you all! I miss you guys. I just have had different things going on in life, including a bunch of emotional stuff. But I hope you all are doing well, and if not than I’m sorry and hope things get better for you. I’ll try and stop by here some. But know that I do think of you guys a lot. My penguin family. 🐧

John is going to have to go to Ripen to get his truck and go back to work. We got to eat at the Olive Garden and watch these shows with a green bugger and some fuss bucket who wouldn't take off his helmet.

Since I've written about my brother John being here, I have been through my stress cycle. This time I let mom know about it. I went back to feeling worthless when I didn't have an Idea of what I might want to say about something. So got through that and my mom mentioned plants so I'm back to making garden plans. The area is all weedy so I'm thinking about pulling the sprouts and getting a bunch of seeds like maybe Johnny Jump ups ( the skipper butterflys eat inch tall pansy so they should like these too).

I will be alright on Monday as I have written my password down and hidden it in my desk!

Longer passwords are more secure than more 'complex' passwords. I sprinkle in the complex characters into whatever my regular password would have been, if the site asks for it. It is annoying though, the world would be better off if we mandated minimum 16 character limits instead of mandating one number, one complex character, one Greek character, or whatever.

Milkweed. They create beautiful flowers and they smell a bit like lilacs. Not only do monarch butterflies love it, so do honey bees. It will help the environment.

It doesn't bother me, per se; I mean, I like my job very much; I've been in it 4 years now. (In fact, this past Sunday marked my 4-year anniversary as an employee there.)
While I'm on the subject, I must admit that today I arrived half an hour late, due to circumstances that were (generally) beyond my control. There had been an accident on the freeway, involving a fuel spill, which affected traffic for several miles in the direction that I travel to get there. (I found out the specific details by listening to several traffic reports on the radio which mentioned the accident.) So I pulled off the road, found a place to stop the car, and called my boss, and explained that I'd be arriving late because of the accident. She understood, because she knows I have to drive a long way.
I think one thing that might have helped me is finding out about any problems before I left the house. I have a radio in my bedroom, and one particular local station usually gives a report at approximately 7:30 (the time I normally leave the house in the morning). So I can turn it on and listen for the report, and if it mentions something that might affect me, I can consider taking an alternate route. (I don't, however, have a smartphone, with a traffic app...but if I did, that would have been helpful too.)

I am so sick of hearing about Monarchs. They don't migrate where I life. Milkweed is a toxic plant. My Dad has some plants he eats and I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to stay from plants that are or may be toxic to us humans. The plant I was thinking about trying will defiantly too hot here. I am now looking at Yerba Santa. They show it growing in Sacramento and say it's food for tiger swallowtails. A pretty little blue butterfly likes peas. Looks like I'm going to try attracting the tiger swallowtail tiger and Acom Blue. Other then the sun, I have to wait until the destruction workers do what there going to do here.

Now for something that makes an ounce of sense...
A week ago I celebrated four years in my current job. And I'm still learning things there. It's working out well.
In fact, today at the office my boss was having trouble with something in an Excel file she was doing, so she asked me to help her out... so she sent me an electronic copy of the document, and I eventually ironed out whatever problem there was. (Then I messaged it back to her.)

Yes many a year, since the the last refit back in the early 1990s.
The only "remodeling" we've done at our house (in the almost 19 years we've lived in it) is in the backyard, when we had our swimming pool installed last summer. Now we want to get some landscaping put in so that the pool is not entirely surrounded by dirt. We even have some plans/ideas of what we want to plant (including some grass), but our gardener has not committed to a start date for that yet.

We will not be able to recognise our kitchen once it is finished.
We had our kitchen redone a few months ago.

I had not realised that, I hope it did not take as long as mine?

Today is James's 18th birthday. We went out for a meal on Saturday and tonight I tried to put sparklers on his dessert but I couldn't light them!

It took about a month, My Mother And Father were trying to figure out where we could have our breakfast lunch and dinner so they ate in the living room as I ate upstairs in my room until the kitchen was finished.

So far it is around three weeks. Work restarts tomorrow, and hopefully finish by this time next week. During these weeks, when not with my family, it has almost been as living in a bed-sit, with kettle, microwave, television and bed all in one room.

I eat where I can, in the bedroom, or at the computer desk.

I don't know where the time has gone.
18 is the voting age in the UK as well. It is also the legal drinking age.

Whenever we move or have our place redone, I eat on the floor.

For me I struggle to get down on the floor for any reason.

That's a good idea for the time being just as long as you don't make a mess.

If you do eat on the floor always try to put a tray under it for protection.

still get tired about lunch time and take a morning to lunch rest usually. Today alot of the stupid wind that has been blowing clouds around was gone so I went outside to get some sun and warm up. Starting to feel better as far as being cold.
