Wow, I honestly can't believe my cousin is almost seven and turning eight next year honestly. I still remember when he was baby lol.

Anyways...I will probably not be going out anyplace today. I did, however, do some housework earlier.

doing stuff in my garden earlier.  it was a little overcast.  I planted some seeds in the viola family and some zinnias which should come up a lot faster if they do.

well so far today my wrists are kind of tired because I had to pick up and move all my pots.  No words from training.  Besides standing outside to try and shade my plants when I can, I've been trying to use or loose my beads.  That's probably not making my wrists feel better either.

This is why the UK bonfire night in November is better.  Most firework displays are finished by 8.30/9.00

mom let me put my plants back at one.  I've been thinking and trying to work with my beads all this time until about 4: 20 when I noticed my pinks have white on their leafs.  So I picked the white leafs and I'll see how they do.  May be simple as humidity and may need a shady spot for them and or make sure they're not getting over watered. 

I think it's safe to say that this fourth of July has easily been the best one of my life so far.

I wish the police would knock on more doors around here and crack down on more firecracker users. Problem is, they can't take care of all the offenders at once because there's so many offenders and fewer officers on the beat.

Took my girlfriend and her kids over to my nephew's house and hung out with him and his friends and several of my family members. We were having a great time cooking out and lighting off fireworks in his driveway, until a severe thunderstorm blew in and ground the festivities to a screeching halt.  :P

This afternoon I helped my dad paint the front door of our house and install new hardware on it. Then later on we barbecued some food and watched the Dodgers game on TV. (In fact, my team just won!)

anyways...I went back to work today and had less to do than usual, since I got caught up on everything on Tuesday, and there was nothing from Wed. because it was a holiday.

I got this horrible idea with my beads when I made something that kind of looked like a dragonfly.

I got my Bug-A-Salt gun in the mail today. I ordered it from Amazon and it arrived 2 days ahead of schedule. I took it out to the dumpster behind my building and blasted several flies.

What a great time to be alive!  ;D

So this morning I went to the library to do my volunteering; I got there shortly after it opened (at 9am) so that I could be done there before it got too hot outside. That worked out well. So I've been home all afternoon.

I'm feeling better, but Joel said he wasn't feeling good and has had his door shut all this time.  I've been shopping at amazon, going to have budget money to spend.  Was shopping stores there seems to be items that you cant pick up at the stores.  Why not just turn stores into places to ship things?

Anyways, I had a good day overall at work, but my boss was not in today because her father had passed away over the weekend. :\'( So the rest of us in the office signed a sympathy card for her.

I'm still whatever with Facebook.  I found these things called groups and I guess if you join them you can post certain things they allow.  Still wonder if anyone might ever come to my page and say hi to me or something because that's what I am, sad and lonely. Guess that doesn't matter because I'm not selling something or anything like that.

Ooh, I LOVE looking at real estate. I look at it on line when I am bored. That was how I found this house-and we weren't in the market for a new house but just fell in love with it.

So today I had a nice birthday. Spent the morning at home, had cake.. and then in the afternoon my parents took me to the Oaks mall so I could buy things for myself (mainly clothing items); they had given me $200 as a gift so I could spend it on what I needed. Then we went out for a nice dinner at a restaurant we enjoy. Now we're at home.

I still remember when my family & I were looking at new houses 18 years ago, when we prepared to move out of our old neighborhood and into something new. (We even looked at some new places on my birthday that year!)

Anyways, this weekend my parents & I are doing some more painting inside the house. We are repainting the downstairs bathroom a light-blue color.

I'm going back home tomorrow night. We are more than likely not moving to Georgia. So all my friends in my home state better be happy now.  ;D ;D

Finished work for the summer last Thursday. Well I have to go in for random days at my discretion.

We went to Cumbria to stay with Dai for a long weekend.  Some of the time was spent painting, building more furniture and putting in wiring for a new light fitting in the new house, but we also had a look round the town (it was Elizabeth's first visit) and went for a walk to Goat Tarn, followed by a meal in a country pub.


James is volunteering at a museum over the summer, helping younger visitors with the activity stations and Elizabeth is working some of the time in the Chemistry department of the local university. I am working my way through all the Rick Riordan (Percy Jackson) books.

Finished work for the summer last Thursday. Well I have to go in for random days at my discretion.

In one of my previous jobs, I during long breaks for the firm (especially Christmas to New Year), it was my duty to pop in occasionally to check the calls on the answer machine, note the numbers and caller's names down, (call back when back to work properly), and delete the calls to make space for more calls.

At work I have to check on the water levels and food for the fish and the terrapins, and water the plants. We do this on a rota every holiday.

Also we have just had most of the work on our new chemical store finished so we are transferring our chemicals into the new area. We had hoped to have completed this before the summer holidays started but it wasn't to be

I've been in my part time job for 2 1/2 years now.

There is a new person in this office now; she started about a month ago; she'll be learning about what the rest of us do, and is likely going to replace a certain longtime employee who is retiring in a few months.

Well it is that time of year (in the Northern Hemisphere at least).

This morning I had a place to go to, but it wasn't too hot for the most part. Still, I took safety precautions.

So, today I had to stay later at the office because there were a lot more tasks I needed to do today, due to it being the end of the month.

Not sure if this'll be credited as overtime pay for me, but I can ask.

We are in the process of moving across the country from Chicago to the East Bay of California. I'm currently sitting in a hotel room in Des Moines, worried about tomorrow because the car's check engine light came on, and I have a massive fear of things happening on the road because the last time we road tripped, our car completely died in Nevada and we had to buy a new one in Reno.

I haven't seen my kid in two months because he's out with my husband's family, acclimating himself to California and coming to terms with his uncle's death.

I am exhausted and sad that we had to sell our condo and give up twelve years of a life we built to go back to a place I really don't want to be anymore.

That's today. I'm going to go write in my journal and probably cry again.

I'm still waiting for my work training to start again  seems I've been looking up cooking starting with fast food health stuff.  I just looked at the price of and apartment around here and then assisted living places because I am going to need help.  My live has been at a standstill for so long.
