I decided to make this thread for fun. Do you guys agree with this?


The Decadeology God: This person always engages in decadeology topics and loves to talk about which years were more early, mid or late, and loves talking about the "vibe" that each year had.

The Generationologer: This person always engages in topics that have to do with the boundaries between Baby Boomers, Gen X, Gen Y, Gen Z, etc. They always debate about which year is the end and start for a generation, who is the early, core, or late part of that generation, etc. They also talk about which years had Gen X, Gen Y, Gen Z culture, etc.

The very opinionated: This person has strong opinions and beliefs that are very difficult to change, and they usually stick to them.

The jokester: This person barely takes any topic seriously. They love to joke around, banter, and always tend to lighten up the mood of the thread if they can

The sarcastic: Not to be confused with the jokester, who always messes around. This person usually comes off as a smartass and will especially become sarcastic when they're mad.

The decade kid debater: This person always engages in discussions about who is an 80's, 90's, 2000's kid, etc.

The overly nostalgic: This person is literally stuck in the past. They always, and I mean always look back on any year that was in the past and becomes nostalgic for it. They are so nostalgic they will sometimes still use old stuff, like technology for instance.

The modern-day hater: This is NOT to be confused with the overly nostalgic. Unlike the overly nostalgic, these people don't have to be strongly nostalgic. These are the type of people that absolutely hate everything today. From movies to music. They are also more likely to be overly nostalgic, but once again, they don't have to.

The modern-day lover: Just the opposite of modern-day haters. These people actually love the pop culture of today. They are sadly (and also unsurprisingly) rare.

The politician: These people talk about politics a lot.

The music lover: These people love talking about music, whether it be music from the 80's, 90's, etc. They love talking about music genres and pretty much anything related to music they can talk about.

The elitist: This person likes to look down on people who are younger than them and tends to feel superior to people who didn't experience a time period that they had.


What do you think? Is it accurate? You can add on or make your own if you'd like.  ;D

No offense, but I don't know if this thread is such a good idea. Inevitably people are going to start trying to figure out who they think belongs in what category, some of which are less than flattering, and things could easily go downhill quickly.

As long as that doesn't happen, I don't see any problem.

I know that it's meant in harmless fun and as long as it stays that way then I don't see any problem with it either. But there's a few people here who don't get along with each other all that well, and I can see this thing going south in a hurry.

You forgot the Number Count Posters. These users reply to EVERY topic after its been bumped when the post they replied to, didn't even need to be replied to, adding nothing to the discussion.
