So far, I have been to 9 states: New York (my home state), New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Florida. Also, I've been to our nation's capital - Washington D.C.

If I start taking more long weekend vacations though, any state in the Northeast is fair to me. Vermont and New York look best. California looks amazing to live in, I'm not itching to vacation there though.

I think those are really beautiful shots, but from what I know, Vermont looks even better and has picturesque little towns on top of that. From all the pictures I've seen on the net, Vermont (and southern Québec) have by far the best autumn foliage.

I was born in NC, and lived in ME and WI before, and now live in CO. Many of those states were just drive-through states. That's why I've been to that many.

Eh, not really. State lines are arbitrary and don't necessarily denote a difference between two places. Almost every country has states and provinces, and many are much more diverse than the US. Are you going to visit all those too? :o

For example, I will be able to learn different languages much easier being in different countries as well as eat new food. Also, I can meet new friends and learn about the culture and the history.
