There's a guy in my high school who is the tallest kid in the school. He was a new student and everybody was talking about him and saying "Woah, he's so tall" even I was surprised. His head could touch the top of the door.

The commuter buses are even worse, there are almost no safe seats. I'm not tall so I'm not used to watching out for my head but these buses are a huge hazard  ;D (though they have a lot more leg room and reclining seats)

I just checked and the average height in India for males is 5'5". If I went back there I'd be a goddamn tower ;D

Average height for males is 5'9" to 5'11". 5'5" to 5'7" is short my dude.

I'm around 5'6" to 5'7" and it sucks. However, I imagine that it sucks even more for you because you're 5 feet flat.

I know! Her feet were the same size as me at 2 years old. She's a tall girl. She has a tall father, so I think I know where she got her height from. Definitely different from me, I was always the shortest kid in my class and she is the tallest kid in her class.  ;D

true story, In an old photo from 1984 I used to be the shrimp of the family, the smallest one where everyone was taller than me but now I am taller than My Mother but I think My Father is trying to catch up in height.

Isn't the ceiling and ledges the same thing? OTT, your buses must be smaller. I honestly don't hit those curved things when I'm on a bus, and I would hate to bump that overhead. That must have been painful. Are buses in Toronto like that too?

I think I stopped growing in my mid teens as well. I'd thought maybe I might have a chance at getting to 6 feet...but no such luck. However, my dad's two brothers (who are both younger than him) are over 6 feet tall, and my late paternal grandfather was also over 6 ft.

When I was living in Independence, Missouri 10-12 years ago I used to hang out at this redneck/biker bar called the Tool Shed (looking back now, I wonder how I got through that period of my life unscathed) and every now and then this giant of a man would come in. He had shoulder-length red hair and a beard and always wore a flannel logger's coat. I once asked him how tall he was and I think he said he was 7'4". He was so tall he had to constantly duck under the rafters on the ceiling just to walk through the bar. I swear, all that guy needed was an axe and he would have been Paul Bunyan.

He wasn't super friendly but he wasn't a dick either, and every time he'd come in I'd always look up at him and jokingly say, "Ah, sh!t! I'm not the tallest guy in the bar anymore." He always seemed to be slightly irritated by that.  ;D

Just yesterday, I was walking on my college campus and there was this basketball player who was no less than 6'8" and he made me look like a f*cking dwarf :-[.

I know that I'm short but I was like a 5 year old compared to him :-[ :-X.

Also, last month, in the supermarket, there was a guy who was literally no less than 7 ft. He was extremely skinny and lanky, he looked awkward, I actually feel a bit sorry for him :-\\.

Possibly. In 2013 or 2014 the Toronto Raptors showed up to the children's hospital while I was there too. Unfortunately the opportunity was completely wasted as I didn't recognize most of them. My brother was jelly though ;D

If I could choose my height I would want to be 6'2" to 6'4" and NOT any taller, lol. If I was taller than 6'4" then I'd have to be an NFL or NBA player or just be a famous person in general because I couldn't just be an average person who is so tall (Sorry NerdyGamer :P).
