Glad I stepped down as a mod b/c earlier today I saw some more D-crap. I handed out a smattering of smites (ooh, sounds like a good line for a board-specific 12 Days of Christmas parody).

Havent been doing much writing wise, pretty much retired years ago. Good to see people are still alive and kickin'.

Wow, that long! Thanks for remembering. Lots of changes. I'm back in the gym. I lost both my parents and gained a granddaughter (18 months old today). I quit my job of 19 years for a better opportunity at the University of Michigan Dearborn. (Reader's Digest condensed version).

I really hurt both of my ankles trying to run but I went to a podiatrist recently who said I must get back into it very slowly and I've gained a reasonable amount of weight so I've got it all to shift again. I'll do it eventually. :)

Well...I found religion some time ago and lost it, gained a little bruiser of a nephew called Cason who is a couple of years old and I'm still plodding along in my job in the UK postal service. I do a few miles on the treadmill at the gym unless my leg seizures are more frequent, then I just do recumbent bike for half hour.

I work in the Institutional Research office on the Dearborn campus. I help compile data to send to Ann Arbor, the state and federal reporting agencies. I love working with numbers and the people I work with. It's a wonderful change from Ferris.

She is among the best souls the Earth will ever produce. And probably among the most cheated.


She was a little spitfire, and I really liked her and think of her from time to time still.

I had religion a long time ago but, just recently, I realised it wasn't right for me. I really wanted it to work but sometimes what you want and what you get are two different things. I may have some pictures of Cason somewhere, I'll have to dig them out. I've only seen him a couple of times because he lives up the country from me. My brother says he's a right little bruiser and I'm inclined to agree, lol.

I have a desk job which is a shame because I could do with the exercise. The podiatrist said that I have an aggravated tendon around my ankle so my feet are fine for walking and everything else but, if I'm trying to do cardio, running at this point is not going to get me anywhere.

well I have 2 extra girls today/tonight!  I do have a smoked turkey breast in the oven de thawing and I am going to make homemade mac n cheese for supper. 

As for thinking I am great...  both girls are officially teens.  So teens are fickle creatures!  Some moments I am great, more moments I am mom the unfair!  Lol

well i have 2 kids, how I came up with it.  Sami was read by most people.

Unfortunately she has a friend whose parents let her run freely.  Not checking up m, no expectations...  it makes things difficult.  But I am set with my rules, and I seem to keep her friend in check sometimes too.  Proves kids do really want boundaries (even though they fight them)
