Subject: American Cities you have been to

Written By: ArcticFox on 12/22/16 at 4:02 pm

So what cities has everyone been to? I've been to a lot, some I want to revisit soon, some I don't want to go to again. Include ones you have lived in (which could probably just be large towns and not actual cities). Also include cities you want to go to that you haven't been yet!

Cities I've lived in:
Los Angeles, CA (born there)
Sterling, VA
Dayton, OH (in an area that was close to it—it was practically a clumped community rather than a town!)
Layton, UT
San Antonio, TX (currently live)

Cities I've been to:
Baltimore, MD (to go with my dad for Orioles games when I was a kid)
Bethany Beach, DE
Virginia Beach, VA
Washington D.C. (lots)
Orlando, FL (twice—once in '01 and once in '06)
Flagstaff, AZ (many, many times—have family there)
Cincinnati, OH
Lexington, KY (family there)
Indianapolis, IN
Chicago, IL
NYC, NY
Colorado Springs, CO (three times)
New Orleans, LA
Gautier, MS (have family there)
The Woodlands, TX (a distant suburb of Houston)
Salt Lake City, UT
Ogden, UT
Park City, UT
Cedar City, UT
Los Angeles, CA (have family there)
Orange County, CA (have family there)
Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA (no, I didn't see any celebrities)
Austin, TX
Corpus Christi, TX
College Station, TX
Destin, FL (or a place right near it, I don't remember what the real name was)
New Braunfels, TX (great place to go swimming or even skinny dipping!)
Galveston, TX

Cities I want to visit again:
Orlando, FL (Disney World!)
Destin, FL (absolutely beautiful)
Corpus Christi, TX (I could drive there whenever I have a free weekend or a couple of free days since I only live about 3 hours away)
Austin, TX (man, that place is so fun! and I live less than two hours away!)
Los Angeles, CA (who doesn't?)
Salt Lake City, UT (splendid nature and fabulous views)
Flagstaff, AZ (love it there)
Washington D.C. (childhood memories)
Baltimore, MD (too bad about the high crime  :\'()
New Orleans, LA (great place to get drunk I hear.. Bourbon Street woot woot!)
Chicago, IL (vibrant, fun, delicious!)
Indianapolis, IN (just because  8))
NYC, NY (excess!!!)
Bethany Beach, DE (wonderful beach—just like Destin)
Virginia Beach, VA

Cities I want to check out for the first time:
Buffalo, NY
Rochester, NY
Providence, RI
Newport, RI
New Haven, CT
Hartford, CT
Minneapolis, MN
Toledo, OH
Cleveland, OH
Columbus, OH
Philadelphia, PA
Ocean City, MD
Alexandria, VA
Arlington, VA
Richmond, VA
Norfolk, VA
Nashville, TN
Raleigh, NC
Charlotte, NC
Durham, NC
Panama City, FL
Tampa, FL
Fort Lauderdale, FL

Santa Fe, NM
Phoenix, AZ
Tuscon, AZ
Las Vegas, NV
San Diego, CA
Seattle, WA

I've been to New York City, NY and Orlando, FL.

I'd love to visit NYC again. I was 6/8 when I went there, so it's been a long time.

I'd love to visit Boston, Philadelphia, really, just any of the historical cities that are nearby (Northeast).
I want to visit California in general, preferably some sort of beach town near the Rockies with great Mexican food.
I'd love to visit my cousins in Houston, but I'm not sure if there's anything to do in the city itself. Maybe visit NASA? :D
I want to go hiking in Alaska in the spring! It looks beautiful!
New Orleans sounds like a must-see as well.

Aside from the greater Los Angeles area, which I grew up in, I've been to several within the state of California, and others not in California.

In CA: San Francisco (and vicinity), San Diego, Monterey, Fresno, Bakersfield, Palm Desert.

Outside of CA: St. Louis, MO (only the airport); Chicago, IL; Dubuque, IA; Cedar Rapids, IA; Minneapolis, MN; St. Paul, MN; Wisconsin Dells, WI; Denver, CO (only the airport); Seattle, WA. Also I have been to three Alaskan ports: Ketchikan, Juneau, and Skagway.
