Yes, the thought did occur that it was an April Fools joke .. but, it turned out to be wonderfully relaxed garden party wedding. Untraditional ... I think her friends are greenies!  In fact, the bride sang "Cupid" to her husband .. with several of the crowd harmonising and doing background Doo-wops. It sounded great and was a big secret until the actual moment it happened.

My niece (the bride) advised me that she found her untraditional mint green dress at an op shop for seven dollars! Yep ... I said 7 dollars!!!

I saw my psychologist for the second time today. I never thought that seeing a psychologist would help, I always kind of shoo-shooed the idea off as crazy, or foolish. Yes, yes, I can be judgmental just like
anybody else. I'm human and made of flesh.  :P My psychologist told me that the reason why I failed school in 2015 was because unconsciously I have fear of going back to school, based on past experiences of the years 2007 to 2011.

He says I should start off with only one, or two classes, a semester, instead of four. Build up steadily. I never thought of it this way. I see my psychologist as a Godsend. I don't think I would have received his message three years ago, or more. Because I was too sick then.

Yes, we're all people and nobody's perfect.  Yeah just start back with one or two classes to know if rhythm is right .

I feel calmer now. I don't know why. Perhaps I've come to a point where I can accept the past few years. Not saying the future will be all sunshine and rainbows, but it's useless now to be anxious about the past or future. The present is all i have to care about. I don't worry about much as I used to anymore. I no longer want to attract all that fear and darkness towards me.

Raining in southern California as well. In fact, there was a decent amount of it yesterday and there's more scheduled for today. Because of this, we probably won't be going out to celebrate my dad's birthday, which is today. However, last night we went out for dinner at a nice restaurant. :)

Today is very busy at work. Lots of sales plus a classic car show. I was scheduled 10 he's cause of a computer mistake. I haven't worked more than 4 in weeks. So I'm beat. A little over 4 left for today. Then tomorrow I work my regular shift. Hopefully it calms down around here.

I went to Cambridge with Elizabeth yesterday.  She was there to do a Chemistry masterclass, as she is looking to try and get into Cambridge University next year.

I went to an art gallery and then for a wander around the town and shops.

James came home from his school ski trip this afternoon.  He had a good time.

Later this month, we're gonna have new flooring installed in our home. The same carpet that has been in our house since it was new 15 years ago, is going to finally be replaced. The past couple o' months, we've been looking into flooring options and such. So on the day(s) that it gets replaced, we're gonna need to move things, including furniture, so that the work can get done.

Yesterday was Monday, music day and the music teacher seems so happy that I'm doing the high stuff for Tossin And Turnin.  Today is my psycologist day.  I don't really have anything to tell her.  Darn it, the sun is gone again this morning.

So now it's one week until the new flooring is scheduled to be installed in our home. I still need to find temporary storage places for items that are on the floor in my room (and closet) so that when it comes time, I won't be unsure at the last minute where to put them all. About 10 year ago, I was knocked out for a removal and did not feel a thing, apart from being drowsy and the after pain.

About 2 years at another extraction of two teeth, I had local anaesthetic, and apart from the wait of the anaesthetic to set in, it was all done in three minutes.

Went to York this weekend with the morris dancers.  Yesterday there was a day of dance with over 50 sides dancing in various locations across the city.  Then we all met together and danced in a big circle.  It was great fun.

And if we hadn't danced enough we then got together for a ceilidh.  Plus we walked loads around the city and to and from our accommodation

Today a couple of us went to the railway museum to see The Flying Scotsman amongst other things.  This was the first engine to go above 100 mph!

I was Novocained and he told me if If I'm pulling, ask for more Novocaine which I asked for and it was done in less than 10 minutes.

And now I get to spend the rest of the week planning a Purple, 80s inspired look cause I like showing out at these things. Too short notice to order the Bitter Lace Rainbow Highlighter, so I cannot go as Apollonia. LOL.  ;D

Busy day today, emptying out bookcases, to prepare for the flooring work that needs to be done. Tomorrow the hard floors will be done (kitchen and bathrooms); my parents will be home for that while I go to work. Friday the rest of the rooms will be done with new carpeting; figures to be a very busy two days altogether. The guys doing the work will arrive early tomorrow morning and on Friday morning.
So I will likely not be online the next two days.

Yesterday was the British Orienteering Championships.  The area was quite tricky and the map wasn't the best.

I was out on my course for almost 3 hours - I would normally do about half that time.

We were all tired last night.

Today I am Morris dancing and maypole dancing at a May Day event at a pub.  There will also be a choir singing and some local bands playing

Yesterday my mom was talking to me about something and I couldn't understand her.  Later she got dad to try and help explain.  Dad could not understand where mom was going with what she was saying either.  She got all upset and left the room.  Didn't even say sorry to me for telling me I'm wrong. This was about my new processor and both dad and I are talking about the different programs on it.  Mom was saying  something about the microphones and then reprograming.  See she had told me that it has nothing to do with the programs.
