From Kindergarten to your PHD (Dr's degree), what school years were your favorite?

I really like grade 2 to 4. And I also really like Sixth grade. That's it for me.

I don't really have a favorite year of school but if I had to choose one it would have to be the Kindergarten years.

Ok years: 9th, 12th.

Worst: 6th.

Worse school year for me was Junior year of college! Truly a low point in my life.  :-X

Best: I'm still deciding.

Worst: Definitely 4th. I had an awful teacher, and had some other not-so-great experiences. (But there were some positive points.)

My best, and favorite year was 8th.

My end of high school came 22 years ago.

Grades 5 and 6 were probably my favourite years. I had lots of friends and many good memories, but that was all interrupted when I was forced to move right before Grade 7 started. However, sophomore and junior year in high school were pretty fun as well.

From college on, but doing dissertation research in Chile (1972-73) was by far the best

Oh yes, I had a lot of great years in college (save for 2003-04, but that had its share of good moments as well). I was in college for ten years altogether; some that stand out to me were 2005 (the year I officially changed my major to Liberal Arts), Fall 2004 (when I began to "take it easy" after a stressful semester), and much of 2006.

same here, I left 23 years ago.

In 5th grade I had a teacher I liked a lot.  His name was Mr Welch.

I'm specifically going to talk about high school.  The best was a tie between the 10th and 11th.  They were the most laid back.  I mean there was no gym class yet I didn't have to worry so much about the future.  The worst was a tie between the other two.  The 9th wasn't all that bad.  But I hated gym and that year I was bad.  I mean I didn't care about getting in trouble when I was normally a good kid.  I just hung around bad kids that year and the year before.  Also I remember having a crappy pixie cut that prior summer.  The 12th I tried a bit harder to get my grades up but I stupidly signed up for Debate class when I'm nervous as crap when it comes to public speaking and I'm not the debating type.  I just thought its easy cause we mostly do research and write a bunch of stuff.  But then I failed because when it came to the actual debate meeting I refused to attend.  However this year I took a class about web page design which was really fun and then I had journalism which I love.

I had some good moments during that year as well. For one thing, I was in an honors math class...and even though I struggled during the first month or so, staying after school for tutoring helped me out and I did well in the class. :) Best of all, everyone in that class treated me with respect; they never said anything mean to me. And sometimes they would turn to me for help on a problem.

There was one day in particular in my junior year of high school which I'm going to say is my favorite.  I can't tell you the date as I don't know.  I was in photography class and we took a trip downtown to take pictures.  The old buildings are so cool.  There is this hotel, which I actually tried to get a job at this year, but it is said to be haunted.  I had been in there once before for something unrelated but I've never stayed there.  It certainly felt off in there.  For lunch we ate at this old restaurant that way amazing Italian food.  I had a big pizza all to myself.  I remember it was fall and cold out, not freezing.  So between October and November of 2001 it was.  Technically that's not a school day though it happened on a school day but it was outside of school.  But I still say it counts!
