1. Won a trophy/award? Yes. I won four spelling bees in elementary school; in junior high I won two awards for my achievements in math... and not really any more since then.

3. Been in an auto accident (either as driver or passenger)? Technically, yes, as a passenger. On June 24, 1993, we (my mom and I) were rear-ended in a parking lot when we were backing out of a parking space in a one-way aisle, and a woman driving a hot red car was going the wrong way, and hit us.

4. Gone skinny dipping? No.

5. Skipped a class? Not really... but if I ever had an appointment during school hours, I guess it would count. But I have NEVER played hooky from school.

6. Climbed a tree? Yes, only a small one, and not very high because I was a kid at the time and didn't want to risk falling off the tree and hurting myself.

7. Climbed a mountain? Nope.

8. Roller skated? Yes, but I haven't done so since I was 16. Even then, I wasn't doing it very frequently.

9. Ice skated? No.

10. Had surgery? Yes, twice. In 1987, at age 7, I had my tonsils removed and had to be in the hospital overnight; in 2000, at age 20, I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed, and I was an outpatient for that.

11. Flunked a class? I wanna say no to that... but unfortunately in college I had major struggles with upper-division computer-science classes and could not pass two of them with a 'C' or better.

12. Gone bungee jumping? No, nor do I intend to.

13. Had a lemonade/Kool-Aid stand? No, although it might have been fun.

15. Been in a race (car, foot, etc.)? A foot race, albeit a minor one, on a few occasions at school when I was a kid.

3. Been in an auto accident (either as driver or passenger)? When I was 16 my dad was driving and slammed into another car at a two way stop. The drivers of the other car must have been new, they were high school students and didn't have the stop sign. We did. Everyone was fine, the cars not so much. If he hadn't tried to avoid them people might not have been ok.

4. Gone skinny dipping? In a girl's pool in her backyard we did once.

5. Skipped a class? No. Couldn't get away with it.

6. Climbed a tree? As a kid all the time!

8. Roller skated? Yes and I was so excited when I got rollerblades because they were easier to skate on. I loved going to the skating rink where they'd play dance music and sometimes me and friends would skate in this huge church lot when it was empty.

Have you ever...


1. Won a trophy/award? Yes. I won four spelling bees in elementary school; in junior high I won two awards for my achievements in math... and not really any more since then.

2. Been arrested? No, and I hope I never do.

3. Been in an auto accident (either as driver or passenger)? Technically, yes, as a passenger. On June 24, 1993, we (my mom and I) were rear-ended in a parking lot when we were backing out of a parking space in a one-way aisle, and a woman driving a hot red car was going the wrong way, and hit us.

4. Gone skinny dipping? No.

5. Skipped a class? Not really... but if I ever had an appointment during school hours, I guess it would count. But I have NEVER played hooky from school.

6. Climbed a tree? Yes, only a small one, and not very high because I was a kid at the time and didn't want to risk falling off the tree and hurting myself.

7. Climbed a mountain? Nope.

8. Roller skated? Yes, but I haven't done so since I was 16. Even then, I wasn't doing it very frequently.

9. Ice skated? No.

10. Had surgery? Yes, twice. In 1987, at age 7, I had my tonsils removed and had to be in the hospital overnight; in 2000, at age 20, I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed, and I was an outpatient for that.

11. Flunked a class? I wanna say no to that... but unfortunately in college I had major struggles with upper-division computer-science classes and could not pass two of them with a 'C' or better.

12. Gone bungee jumping? No, nor do I intend to.

13. Had a lemonade/Kool-Aid stand? No, although it might have been fun.

14. Won any money in the lottery? Nope.

15. Been in a race (car, foot, etc.)? A foot race, albeit a minor one, on a few occasions at school when I was a kid.

16. Been fired from a job? No, and I hope I never do.

17. Played an instrument? Yes...piano. I took private lessons when I was a kid, and then twice in school. Haven't played much in the past 13 years, however.

18. Played a sport? I did tee-ball when I was about 7 1/2, and did some sports in school, but only in P.E. class. In addition, I did play a game of volleyball with other young adults about ten years ago, and the side that I was on won.

19. Been in a performance (either musical, dance, drama, etc.)? Not really.

20. Got drunk/stoned? No, nor do I ever intend to.

21. Been snorkeling/scuba diving? Nope; for the longest time I was deathly afraid to go underwater, and I have not had any swimming lessons since I was 17; that's half my life ago already!

22. Been to summer camp? Yes. For three straight years I went to summer day camp as a kid, and then I went to a week-long camp session and enjoyed the experience somewhat.

23. Been in a parade? No.

24. Have your photo/name in the newspaper? Well, I took some photos for a weekly newspaper that my dad works for, and I rightly had my photo credit. So I guess this would count.

25. Caught a firefly? No.

26. Been in on boat (sail, kayak, canoe, etc.)? Yes...a cruise ship! :)

27. Bounced a check? No.

28. Been camping? No.

30. Been suspended from school? No, and I'm glad I never was. I was well-behaved for the most part. If I ever got in trouble, it was for something minor, that would NOT warrant a suspension.

An oldie but goodie topic!

1. Won a trophy/award? Yes, a few, one was for an art contest (I got second place for a painting in 6th grade)

2. Been arrested? Thankfully no

3. Been in an auto accident (either as driver or passenger)? Yes, a couple "parking lot" accidents

4. Gone skinny dipping? No

5. Skipped a class? Yes, I skipped a whole day of grade school (punishment was brutal, I didn't repeat that soon)

6. Climbed a tree? Yes, we had a cedar tree that was good for climbing

7. Climbed a mountain?  Not really; have been on a couple mountains, hiked a little but no "climbing"

8. Roller skated?  Yes, never was good tho

9. Ice skated? Yes, quite a bit; I could "hold my own".  After my skates finally wore out my interest waned

10. Had surgery? Several as an adult, I won't elaborate

11. Flunked a class?  I failed one required college class - a major "wake up" call but thankfully upon my right reaction not fatal to my degree pursuit

12. Gone bungee jumping?  No

13. Had a lemonade/Kool-Aid stand?  No

14. Won any money in the lottery?  No

15. Been in a race (car, foot, etc.)?  Ran track in high school - though I wasn't fast, I got our team lotsa points

17. Played an instrument?  I tried formal learning twice; bad luck circumstances thwarted me each time

18. Played a sport?  A little softball, a little basketball, a smidge of tennis - nothing formal except H.S. track

20. Got drunk/stoned?   I drank during my mid/late 20s "party girl" days, got drunk a few (no illicit drugs tho)
