You know, what's getting old around here is how some users bemoan the fact not enough men have long hair, or that fashion is too gender conforming...gender this, gender that. I say you do you. They're as bad as the people who hurl vitriol at people who don't conform or maybe fall somewhere in the lgbt umbrella. A few weeks ago at a restaurant I was served by a male server who had short boy hair, but was wearing long acrylic nails. Some of him was gender conforming, some wasn't, and I feel things like that are being accepted with time as I notice more of it. Not everyone feels gender fluid or gender neutral, it's fine to be that way, but no need to shame those who truly aren't because they're just being themselves. The shaming does go both ways and needs to stop.
If you don't want to be judged yourself, you shouldn't be calling people "fugly." Emo was a trend of the 2000s. There are alternative people out there if you choose to look for them. But if you're this fixated on looks being the end all be all, you're probably not ready to date.

Wrong again. Emo started in 1985, and was tolerated the most in the 2000s, maybe the 1990s.

Oh, do tell more! Seriously, I'm laughing as I type this because that's the funniest sentence in your "rebuttal" that you typed. Women date on looks all the time. And most of the time, they're successful! They can just pick any Joe Schmoe who perfectly fits what their society views as beautiful, undoubtedly someone who beat the piss out of 'weaklings' for fun and had a good laugh about it with their friends later on because they'd never dare fight anyone who had a chance against them. Just take your pick! Anybody with bulging muscles may apply.

And even if women don't have traditional standards of beauty, they still have plenty of other opportunities, in the West where these standards of beauty apply, to date guys compared to the gay scene because it's a proportionality thing. But I still hear this 'all the hot men are gay' bulls###. So yeah, I have a right to "bemoan".
