It's the year of the snake!!
If you were born in 2001, 1989, 1977, 1965, 1953, 1941, 1929, 1917, or if you're having a baby in 2013, you have a 90% chance of being a snake! ;D ;D

A Chinese shop decked out for Chinese New year (or Lunar New year)

(Story is from my wife)
"Chinese New Year was the most exciting time of the year for us as children. This was the only time that we kids got everything brand new, from the head to our feet – for girls, hair clips to new shoes, of course new dresses, stockings, handbags, and the boys would even get a tie! I still remember how excited we were as kids, that we couldn’t get to sleep the night before"
Reminds me a lot how we celebrate Christmas.

No wonder I resisted that knowledge. It doesn't describe me at all :-\\

I am a pig...and it actually describes me. Especially the clumsy part. ;D
Pig is not thought to be smart as dog. It likes sleeping and eating and becomes fat. Thus it usually features laziness and clumsiness. On the positive side, it behaves itself, has no calculation to harm others, and can bring affluence to people. Consequently, pigs were once regarded as wealth.
Strengths
People born in the Year of the Pig are honest and frank, chivalrous and gallant. They have a calm appearance and strong heart. They do whatever they want with their strength. They are tolerant and optimistic, but not until they become your friends can their virtue, advantages and fidelity to friendship be appreciated. They are quick tempered, but hate arguments and quarreling. They are kind to their loved ones. They are not afraid of difficulties and problems but try to work them out. They treat friend sincerely and they do not tell lies unless they have to. They are kind and light hearted and usually go to sleep easily.
Weaknesses
They are trusting and sometimes naïve, so they may easily fall in traps. Although they are loyal to friends, they do not have many friends. They are hot-tempered and impulsive. They are not good at communicating with others. If they play pranks on people, they will not know when to stop.

I think I'm a tiger, which makes sense because I love "Frosted flakes" :D
Often my wife I would get together with others for this occasion ( Chi New Year) but with the dump of snow we had, we aren't gooing anywhere. maybe next year.
