Happy Thanksgiving! :) Even if you don't celebrate it where you are, I would say still find a reason to be thankful. Even if it is a simple as waking up this morning.

well I started my day with Pumpkin Pie...the graveyard dispatcher made a pie and brought it in. It wasn't great but it helped.
Now I'm waiting to see if anyone brings in yams (or sweet potatoes) I don't care but I posted this on FB and a friend of my has decided to turn it into a dissertation on the differences between yams and sweet potatoes... I don't effing care I just want some damn yams (or sweet potatoes) JEEZ!!!!

But you would be eating on tv trays. We still can't find our dinning room table. :-\\ But, the kitchen is almost done so we can start putting some of the stuff back in.

We eat on tv trays every night, too. Usually it is just the two of us and we watch t.v. as we eat. But, when we have people over, we eat at the table. (Well, when SIL was with us, we all ate in the living room.)

Black Friday sales on Friday? That's so passé. Everyone knows Black Friday starts on Thursday now. :P
I had a great dinner. My friend, who wasnt planning on having yams, went to the store and got me yams and marshmallows and made then just for me. It was so sweet.
I love them.
The only negative. All their friends are these freaky, nonpreservative eating people. So they kept talking about the evils of processed foods vs organic. And how twinkies taste like cancer. Since I was the only one at the table over 200 lbs and the only one who eats crappy processed foods I felt like I really couldn't defend twinkies
Not that I like twinkies but I loved processed foods.

Not in Massachusetts, we are holding out and I am glad, but I would think next year that will change, to the detriment of the family, the state, and civilization as a whole.

facebook is the gift that keeps on giving.....
On wednesday I saw that the graveyard dispatcher had made pie...I told her it looked yummy and asked her to bring me a piece... she said the pie was for the department and she'd save me a piece so I could have it on Thursday when I worked....
I had it for breakfast and posted.... Pumpkin pie for breakfast now if I could just find some damn yams... then I fb stalked all my friends and saw one who was stuffing a turkey. She ended up inviting me for dinner I accepted the invite and said maybe now I'll get some damn yams.... they weren't having yams. So her hubby (who was my friend first) drove to the store and got the fixings for yams!!! They were awesome...
Then I got a text from Kendra stating that she brought yams into dispatch for me...sooooo.... guess what I just had for breakfast! 8)
Plus I brought Bryan and Elizabeth's left overs with me for lunch!
:D
