So, I am somewhat of a sucker for these "as seen on tv" products. I notice they are starting to carry more of them in retail stores (Walmart, CVS, Rite Aid, etc). Have any of you bought items from infomercials and if so, what are the reviews (good or bad)?

I bought the Kangaroo Keeper - that thing that goes into your purse and organizes it.  It probably would have worked great had I taken the time to put every little thing back in it's place, every time I used it, but I am more of a "Throw stuff in as I go" type of girl, so it just ended up being another thing floating around my bag.

There was one I saw on TV last night, it was this stuff to cover up scars, tattoos, stretch marks, etc. I wonder if it really works?

My dad bought this thing at Walgreens from the As seen on TV section. It's a foot scrubber for the shower.  It actually works really well.  It suctions to the bottom of the tub, and you can either squeeze body wash onto it (what my dad does) or you can cover your feet with soap (like I do) and then you scrub it in these bristles that come up out of the bottom.  It even has a pumice stone at the end.  I like.

There's a product called Lint Lizard that gets the lint from your dryer.

Ash, my mom bought one of those too! She really likes it!  I also saw this contraption that makes grouting really easy. It comes in a few different grout colors. I love watching those infomercials, even if half of the stuff doesn't work! My favorite infomercial would be, hands down, for the Magic Bullet. I seriously have watched that one probably 20 times. lol  ;D

The first time I wore one was to my sister's & brother-in-law's 25 anniversary party and after dancing around half the night, the comb part got a bit bent and didn't want to stay in very well. It is fine if you are not planning a night of dancing.  :D ;D ;D ;D

I once bought the AbSolution.  It was one of those belts with velcro that you stick around your waist.  How it worked was it sent shock waves into your stomach, which caused it to shake, to simulate excersie movement, so you can easily lose weight with all the work.  The problem I had was that it took 1 of those jumbo batteries that looks like a quarter and the average battery life was about an hour.

The thing cost like $89.99.  Rip-off !!
