Wow!  With instructions as specific as those, we can all be sure our cakes turns out perfectly!!  Actually I think for cakes, you want somewhat moderate heat, in the 350deg range and definitely don't cook it for a few hours unless you like charcoal cake.  And I believe cake is made of batter, not dough.  But other than that, a spot-on delivery!  :D
