For me, it's hard to say my favorite color, since I love Red and Purple and metallic gold and silver all equally.

Favorite time period: late 1700's - early/mid 1800's
Favorite movie genre: Romance/Romantic Comedy/Period pieces (1800's England) ;)

oooh... favorite time periods.  I love the cheesy 70s with disco and glittery clothes and great pop/soft rock music.  I had a great time growing up in the 70s.  Also I LOVE the 80s (when I was a teen.)  Again, loved all the pop songs, videos, movies, and clothes from that time period.

Favorite movie genres:  I'm a sucker for anything comedy.  I especially love Romantic comedies and horror films that are heavy on comedy.  I like off the wall type movies such as "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus".  Also love foreign films with subtitles!

I like most colors (except maybe mustard) but I think reds & blues (to include purples)are probably of my favs. But I like solid colors-not stripes, polka dots, etc.

As for teams, Red Sox/Mets. Baseball is the only sport that I do.

Time period is hard because there are good & bad to every one. In terms of pop culture, probably everything between 1940s-1980s. Yeah, I know that is a big gap but I like the music from all of those decades.

Movie genres are hard also because it depends on my mood. I like comedy, drama, romance, etc. Not big on horror. I do love theatre & Broadway musicals.


Another question: What type of music do you like?

For me, it is easier to say what I don't like because the list is shorter: rap, hip-hop, & country-otherwise, I love just about everything else.

Music I like: I can usually find one or two songs I like from everything.  That said, I don't like Gangster rap (I guess that's what it's called).  I do like some of Eminem and Will Smith and there was a song by Warren G called "Regulators" that I liked.  Mostly if it samples a 80s song or a 70s pop song and it's done respectfully to that original song, I like it.

I'm not really crazy about dance music nor heavy metal.  But again, there is some songs I like.

I love 70s and 80s pop music.  I love Movie and Broadway musicals.

COLOR - this depends on what we are talking about
Red in general (but I hate that marooney red/merlot that some automobiles are colored).  I like white trucks, and white sedans. But I love yellow SPORTY models in autos/trucks perferrably with racing stripes. 

Houses walls, anything but white.

Dogs, no black or white (can be black with white spots or vice versa)

Cats no yellow

Chocolatey brown in rugs/furniture

Charcoal grey - to wear with some accent colors/jewelry; along with black, and khaki



SPORTS TEAM (not a huge sports fan here, but I still have my faves and I cheer for them win or loose)

My favorite series' are: The Twilight Saga, The Black Dagger Brotherhood, Harry Potter, The Dark Tower, The Hunger Games

The one actual book I love and still do not own is The Host by Stephenie Meyer. ;)

Oh, a question I missed. I like more realistic art. That doesn't mean that I don't like abstract-it just depends on the actual piece. Some I like, some not so much. In terms of classic artists, I love Degas. I really don't like Picasso.

Favorite Authors or Book Series? Loved V. C. Andrews "Flowers in the attic" series (hated the movie.)  Love Elizabeth Berg novels, Loved R. L. Stine novels as a teen and young adult, Love Margaret Peterson Haddix series "Shadow Children" (Among the hidden... etc.)  I love colorful childrens' illustrated books like "The Rainbow Goblins" by Ul De Rico and "Animalia" by Graeme Base; "Tuesday" by David Wiesner for example.

I'd love a new fridge and stove/oven and a dishwasher.  I'd like to unbrick the fireplace (the last homeowner bricked it up and ran pipes through the chimney.  :\'( )  I'd love a new bathtub/shower on the main floor.  I'd like a trip to somewhere warm (not hell or in a war zone right now) I'd love to get me another car (sharing one is a hassle.)  I'd love a hot tub.  That would probably be all the money spent right there.  If I had any left over, I'd buy cheese.   ;D
