Subject: I'm dead in the water.

So I get home from another long day's work, it's Friday night and I just want to kick back and unwind when my cable and Internet decide to crap out on me. I call Time Warner and they have me pull my cord out of this and stick it into that and all that song and dance but nothing. Finally they said they'd send one of their flunkies out to look at it Monday night. Whoopee. So now I'm stuck all weekend with no TV or Internet.
They said there were no reported outages in my area and all my cable hardware inside seemed to be in good working order so who knows? A dog could have f**ked my cable box outside and shorted it out for all I know.
So I probably won't be on too much for the next few days. I can get online with my phone (as I'm doingnow) but it's kind of a pain in the ass.
Guess it's time for me to go out and actually have some fun for once.

EGAD! Set your clock back 25 years. Zapped back to the stone age, you may have to engage in face to face conversation on a social level, a horrific thought in my mind :o

But then again, he can hit piano keys for the weekend as smoking big cigars
I guess he could take some sort of time to improve his rhythm to be God.
