All these picture puzzles say something. I have the answers to each one of them. Most I had to figure out on my own and about eight had the answers provided. Each one will be numbered. When you think you have the correct answer simply reply posting the number of the puzzle and the answer. I'll check and score the answers periodically. Have fun!

That's fine. I can always find more. I had 25 when I started but some of them were not friendly. I found several of them and made them work but there were some really good ones that I can't find that will work here. I'm crashing for the night. See you about tomorrow.

Sorry Howard, wrong on both counts. Think outside the box and put some color into your thinking. Please try again, there are much better answers. Also number 2 has already been answered correctly. Check all posts on the thread to find it.

OK - Here is a fresh batch to work on. I believe that there are still three from the first round that remain unsolved. They are 11, 14 and 16. Have fun and I'll try to keep up with the answers. Some of these puzzles have a number in the upper left corner. That comes with the puzzle. Please refer to the number that is outside the box on the bottom left when responding. Earlier I had some bad script that wouldn't display the pictures correctly or not at all. Sorry about that.

38 is a good guess but no cigar. You got "ways" correct - Think of a different but slightly similar word for "split". :(
24 is half right. 1st word is correct but in the wrong place. It is a two word phrase. :(

??? One tiny clitch - you are off with the numbers. Half baked is number 23 not 22 and Overworked, underpaid is 24 not 23. So 22 is still open for solving, 23 and 24 are solved. I am sure you you got the puzzles correct just the wrong numbers. The number at the bottom left of the puzzle is the number for that puzzle.

:( Dagnabbit above you solved this one. The correct response is overworked underpaid and not underworked overpaid and the number for this puzzle is 24 not 23. Sorry. Again, the puzzle numbers for each puzzle are at the lower left side for each puzzle. In the puzzle worked is on top so it is over the word paid - Thus overworked and paid is under the word worked thus making it underpaid. Sorry :( Dagnabbit was the first and only one to have solved this one correctly.
"worked" on top = overworked and "paid" on bottom = underpaid. Sorry :( Dagnabbit's response was the only correct response to puzzle number 24.

# 36 Right on the money. :) Someone else just solved 21. It is "half time" . Obviously there is a glitch on your machine for number 21. Maybe it has something to do with the HTML script, like maybe you need a java update or something in order to see it. I'm glad you are finding these to be fun.

I thought doing this thread would be easy. It is actually a lot of work. But I don't mind since those of you who are participating seem to be enjoying the challenge. I'm doing my best to keep track of what has been solved and what has yet to be solved. Below is a list of puzzles by number that I believe have not been solved. Howard - 'fraid not :( Only the colors match up to the flag, not the shape. What you are looking at is the lower center right side of an object. You are seeing approximately one fifth to one sixth of the picture. You see 'em everywhere you go.

No, "Overtime" is not the 2nd possible answer, but I believe that you may have found a 3rd possible. :) The 2nd possible answer is a four word phrase. And yes to the best of my knowledge only 26 & 28 are remaining.

Technically you have it correct. Try for that first word and if you strike out I'll give you this one and reveal the answer. It's not all that difficult. ;)

I guess that since Frank's computer died, no one is working these rebus puzzles. I got a PM from him several days ago saying that he is absent from the boards because his computer died and he does not have the funds available to get something done about it. :( So if you are missing seeing Frank out here, this is why. Everyone who misses Frank out here should up his Karma once a day until he gets back, just to show that we missed him.

I've sort of lost track of these. It may take me a while to get back on track. I know that number 4 is nearly correct, but missing two words. Look more closely at the puzzle. The words you did get are correct except its resolution consists of six words. The sentence needs a subject and a predicate. Number 2 is not even close, nor does it make much sense to me. :( Sorry.
I'm fairly busy right now and may not be able to keep up with this as I did before you left. Still, it's great to see you back. No one worked them while you were gone.

;) Frank - That was no easy one. 8) I guess it took a lot of hints to get it. For some reason I got it almost immediately. I think it was because of a very old joke. A long time ago there were two doctor shows on at the same time. One was Dr. Kildare (spelling?) and Ben Casey. The joke was what do you call Casey and Kildare and the answer was a paradox. Source may have been "Mad Magazine".

Maybe what you can do is set a limit at ..oh..let's say "3" at the start and see how it goes..that way someone won;t guess half of them in one shot, but it is tempting.

2kidsami - Don't take me too seriously. I am of Italian heritage and I blowoff when I get frustrated but then I get it out of my system. I just got a bit overwhelmed. It actually is a lot of work to put these together and then post results accurately. It's like a can of worms. They are out here to solve, so solve away. Maybe what you can do is set a limit at ..oh..let's say "3" at the start and see how it goes..that way someone won;t guess half of them in one shot, but it is tempting.
Yeah, just like on the Penguin Quizzes. Then after a while if there are some items still left but no guessers the limit gets increased, and eventually lifted, that way the original solvers can try for more.

Tooth is part of the word - the first part. Two letter phrase as I believe and it's a bit hokey. No easy solver. In fact I should have never entered it but what the heck, one of them should drive folks buggy.

Numbers 10 & 17 Jackpot! :) ;) Number 20 needs a bit of work. Look at your second phrase "Too wise for me" - it is incorrect :( now look again at that part of the puzzle. It is off a few words. I'm sure you will see it right off and fix it. Good solving. 8)

Thanks!! I wasn't sure whether it was supposed to be a complete sentence or a phrase; I just went with the first thing that came to mind. Glad I figured out the general phrase! ;)

I'm so sorry, Frank. This was my bad. :-[ I had the second phrase typed in wrong in my word pad file. :-[ You had number 20 right all along. I had "Too wise for me". I had phrase two and phrase four the same. "Too wise you are, too wise you be. I see you are too wise for me". is the correct answer. ;)
Number 12 is finally solved "Men out of work" good job! ;) :) Number 15 is also solved - "Out on a Limb". ;)
So 12, 15 and 20 are now solved and all by Frank!

Sorry - all answers given are incorrect. Hints --- # 1 is a four word phrase, #9 is a three word phrase, #10 is not a phrase, just three words with a common thread, #12 is four words First two words describe "TIME" and the second two words descibe "TI ME".

:( Sorry, still incorrect. I said twice now that there are only four words in the answer to this puzzle. Good try but try to think outside the box a bit. It is two things that have to do with employment and time, two words and a comma and then two more words - four words in all.
