School is out (I'm homeschooled and we started early and got out early, don't worry, we're legally protected), so I'm gonna try to spend more time here. From PBG to WotW to (ugh) The Karamel Exchange, which I am sorely behind on, I'll try to stay more native to the boards. Blaze on.

Welcome back. Nothing wrong with being home schooled. Carlos' kids were all home schooled and his oldest got her PhD at the age of 23.

Good to see you! I want to hear more about your home schooling.
Well, it's not that much different than regular school, but it's a heck of a lot better. We take things at our own pace, but we don't stop until we learn it. (By "we" I mean my mom and I) I'm getting a just as good, if not better, education compared to public school. It's also much more convenient for me since I'm a diabetic.

Do you take insulin for your diabetes?

Yep. That's Type 1. Type 1 diabetics don't make insulin, so I have to take shots and watch how many carbohydrates I eat.

Good for you. You are fortunate that your mom is able to home school you. That's great. :)
One of my dogs is diabetic. I give him insulin shots twice a day.
