Yesterday, me and my roommate, had the most fun day, ever. The two of us, got tickets to An An Evening With Kevin Smith, at the Roy Thompson Hall, in Toronto.
The tickets were not cheap, but it was well worth it.

He talked about how he proposed to his wife (someone actually proposed to his girlfriend, during the event), Cop Out and working with Bruce Willis, Batman, the film, Vulgar, Avatar, and almost meeting Wayne Gretzky.

The have a couple of DVDs of some of his "Evening" talks, one was even partially filmed here in Worcester, MA at Clark University. I'm a big fan of his work. Even if you don't like his movies, you've got to admire someone who believed in making movies that strongly that he just went out and did it and put himself in huge debt with almost no chance of making it back.
