I know some of you are aware that I was struggling with a decision. Well, the decision was made. Carlos & I are buying a house in Puerto Rico. This will be a second home when we are down there visiting his family (the bed in my sister-in-law's house is less than desirable. lol). Carlos wants to spend most of the winter down there, I'm not too sure about that-but those details have to be worked out. We found a cute little house that is not very expensive. Some renovation needs to be done but for the price of the house, we can make those improvements. We made an offer on it and it appears that the place will be ours. We will be going down there next week to finalize everything.

  I was there on a detachment while in the navy in 1987 and cut my feet to ribbons on coral while snorkeling.  Had to be flown home...

Yup-it is official. The house is ours. We really can't do anything with it right now because people are still living in it. We gave them until the end of Nov. to move out (in the meanwhile, they are going to be paying us rent weekly). After they move out, then we bring in an electrican & an exterminator. Then we figure out what next. lol.
